Danish parliamentary delegation to visit Belarus next week

A Danish parliamentary delegation is expected to stay in Belarus between September 7 and 10, BelaPAN reports.

The delegation is to have seven members and be led by Eva Kjer Hansen, chairperson of the Foreign Policy Committee of Denmark’s People's Assembly (Folketing), according to the press office of Belarus’ House of Representatives.

The delegation is to have meetings with House of Representatives Deputy Chairperson Viktar Huminski; Syarhey Maskevich, chairperson of the House’s Committee on International Affairs and Relations within the CIS; and Nina Mazai, chairperson of the International Affairs and National Security Committee of the Council of the Republic (upper parliamentary house).

In addition, the Danish guests are to meet with top-ranking officials of the foreign and agriculture ministries and visit the Minsk Tractor Works, the National Library and a cheese plant in Ashmyany, Hrodna region.
