Brest hosts rock concert

A rock concert took place in Brest this past weekend, featuring prominent bands from the city in southwestern Belarus and Minsk, BelaPAN reports.

The venues were the parking lot of Brest's airport and a parking lot of the Brest free economic zone.

The gig had been organized by OriginalTM, a concert promotion group, and the city chapter of the Belarusian National Youth Union.

The bill was topped by Minsk's Serebryanaya Svadba and Brest's Stsyana, D_tails, Day Darohu, Plumbum, Plastic Angels of September and Obyekt.

Krambambulya, a band led by prominent rocker Lyavon Volski, refused to play at the concert despite traveling to the city. Mr. Volski explained that the organizers had failed to fulfill some conditions set in the band's rider.
