Detroit Red Wings star Ruslan Salei joins Belarusian U-18 Team's training session in Minsk

Star defenseman Ruslan Salei attended a training session held by the Belarusian Under-18 Team in Minsk on August 26, BelaPAN reports.

The Detroit Red Wings player watched the practice for some 30 minutes before joining in, showing off his skills and sharing some tips with the junior players.

The 35-year-old also talked to coach Alyaksandr Palishchuk.

"This was not quite a masterclass but rather a meeting with the players," the defenseman said. "I wanted to wish them success. And if someone wants to turn to me for advice, I'm always ready to offer it."
