Mr. Lukashenka said that during his most recent visit to Venezuela, its president, Hugo Chavez, suggested looking for projects that the two countries could carry out in cooperation with Syria.
The foreign ministers of Belarus, Syria and Venezuela will consider this matter, and the three presidents will soon meet in Damascus to authorize specific cooperation projects, Mr. Lukashenka said. "In the same way, we'll try to negotiate interesting projects with Qatar and carry them out soon," he said.
