PACE to hold debate on Belarus` executions
The Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) will hold an urgent debate on two executions that have been recently carried out in Belarus, BelaPAN reports. The debate is scheduled for April 29.
Rapporteurs of PACE’s Political Affairs Committee and Committee on Legal Affairs and Human Rights are to submit their reports. The debate was included in the agenda at the opening of the Assembly’s spring session on April 26.
On April 2, Interior Minister Anatol Kulyashow confirmed that Andrey Zhuk, 25, and Vasil Yuzepchuk, 30, were executed by shooting in Minsk in March.
