Belarus is ready to share its experience of creating a strong state defense system with Venezuela, Alyaksandr Lukashenka said while addressing members of the South American country's National Assembly in Caracas on Tuesday.
"And if the Venezuelan president wills it so, we will be able to do this within the shortest period possible," the Belarusian leader's press office quoted him as saying. "And you will be able to live and create peacefully. Live and not think about whether world powers will be friends with you or will hatch plots against you."
He reportedly stressed that both Minsk and Caracas opposed external pressure and double standards in foreign politics and were not afraid to pursue independent policies in the interests of their peoples rather than transnational corporations and "oligarchic clans." //BelaPAN
