Belarusian basketball league's All-Star Game in Minsk

The All-Star Games of the Belarusian men's and women's basketball leagues were staged at Minsk's Palace of Sports on January 9.

The games, which matched the best players of teams based in the eastern part of the country with those in the western part, were followed by skills competitions, including a slam dunk contest and a three-point shootout among men and a free-throw and three-point shootouts among women.

The East beat the West 80-68 in the women's game. The West defeated the East 128-116 in the men's game.

Yury Mishukow of the East tem won the three-point shootout, while J.R. Harrison of the West team won the slam dunk contest.

The East's Halina Ihnatovich won the free-throw shootout and her teammate Viktoryya Harelchyk won the three-point shootout.
