Belarusian businesspeople to visit Istanbul
A delegation of Belarusian businesspeople will stay in Istanbul between October 5 and 8 to hold talks with potential partners.
As a spokesperson for the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) told BelaPAN, the visit has been organized with support from Turkey’s Council for External Economic Relations and the BCCI representative in the country.
The delegation, led by BCCI Chairman Vasil Ramanaw, will include executives with the Minsk Tractor Works, the Homselmash farming machinery manufacturer, as well as a number of medium-sized and small enterprises interested in cooperation with Turkish companies.
The delegation will attend a session of the Belarusian-Turkish Council on Business Cooperation and hold talks with Turkish counterparts.
Trade between Belarus and Turkey amounted to $140 million in the first half of this year. Belarus’ exports totaled $48.6 million and imports $90.7 million in the period. //BelaPAN
