Chiefs of staff of armed forces of Belarus, Poland, Ukraine to meet in Brest on Thursday
The chiefs of staff of the Armed Forces of Belarus, Poland and Ukraine will hold a meeting in Brest on September 3, according to the press office of the Belarusian defense ministry.
Syarhey Hurulyow, Franciszek Gagor and Serhiy Kyrychenko will discuss issues concerning the present state and development prospects of cooperation between the defense departments of the three countries, as well as security in the region, the press office said.
The chiefs of staff are expected to lay flowers at the Brest Fortress Memorial on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the beginning of World War II. //BelaPAN
